The challenge
The client ran a CRM built around 27 custom entities layered on top of the standard objects, plus a large attachment library and an AI-assisted matching workflow the team used daily. A generic migration tool could not touch the custom-entity layer, so a straight lift-and-shift risked losing data a standard import would not know how to map.
How we approached it
Audit
Full source-system inventory: every entity, attachment store, and workflow catalogued before a single record moved.
Map & Migrate
Field-level mapping from each of the 27 custom entities to the closest-fit Odoo model, with de-duplication and referential-integrity checks built into the load.
Configure & Integrate
Odoo modules, roles, and branding configured in parallel with the data load, with the integrations the business depended on preserved.
UAT & Cutover
Acceptance sign-off, a rollback plan, and go-live support through cutover.
Results
All 27 custom entities, roughly 478,000 records, and 434GB of attachments moved into Odoo with referential integrity verified end to end. The AI-assisted match desk was rebuilt in the target system, so the team lost no daily-use functionality on cutover.
